Nigt Market, no Movie

I think this Wednesday is going to be a crappy time for a movie... and a great time for the Untold Crimes of Insomniacs. Indeed. Let's all go there.

There will be movie night at my place next Tuesday or Thursday, depending on what works better for y'all (i.e. comment if you have a preference). We will be watching Blade Runner, eating dinner and I will be soliciting your estemmed opinions on a variety of geeky topics.

You will be there for two reasons:
0. It is shiny. Very shiny.
1. There will be Chinese Opera instead of the usual C-pop
2. It is only there that I will be giving out the antidote to the poison embedded in this purple text.

7pm Friday. You can come over here first and maybe watch a movie if you like, but we will be leaving on time: stragglers will be abandoned to die.. alone.

There's a map (and a mute button) on the site. A specific location isn't really needed: just wander around until you bump into someone you know. That's right, it's group organization Katamari-style.

The pay-what-you-can preview is Wednesday. I think a lot of people will be going to that. I could be wrong though.

Don't want to shit on my own work here, but the pay-what-you-can preview is pay-what-you-can for a reason... it's a preview... it'll be mostly ready.

If you can, come thursday, or friday, or saturday...basically, I'm gonna encourage you to come to a full-ticket-price night. But really, they'll probably be the better performances anyways :)

Absolutely stunning how many of the same people we know and yet I have never heard of you (not that you are not being spoken of in high regard by them, I'm sure). Anyways, I have added you to my friends list so that I can keep track of your posts because they are interesting. Feel free (but in no way obligated) to add me to yours if you please, although my journal is pretty boring and I don't update it very often so it's not really worth keeping track of (hm, maybe I'd better start making it interesting or stop using it so that I can stop telling people that).

Anyways, I am still interested in your game/drama/sci-fi art thing and I am now back from Europe so I can start planning to do things in the near and the distant futures. I would love to attend movie/focus group nights if you would have me- keep the world updated on future movie nights and I will endeavour to attend.

Also, I have some free time and energy to devote to things and now (before my schedule fills up with other things) is a good time for me to commit to helping with things, so let me know if/how I can work to get this project under way.

Indeed, your input would be very much welcome. The brain-squeezing movie nights will be one forum of sciencefictiony amazing-ness, but if you, or anyone else you know who is interested, would care to come over some other time, y'all'd be welcome.
