I know these two things are macho: phalli and scars.
An appointment with a urologist confirms that I have managed to combine the two to be extra manly. This knowledge was well worth walking around like I'd been kicked in the nuts, well worth having a fiber-optic probe stuck where I didn't think you could, or at any rate, should, put sighting devices of any kind. If only I got the scarring as a cowboy in a fistfight over beer during the superbowl: that would be six-fold manliness.

I have to admit, not as gory as I was led to believe by the cut. Gory/disturbing is phalli plus pus plus blood plus tearing noises, maybe.

It's more of the 'I'm talking about my sexual health' that might bother people, while a cut heading of "you may not want to read this" often means "hey, this is juicy." I felt kind of uncomfortable putting it up in the first place so I was being guarded.
