This "hair" has multiple applications

After trying to grow my hair out, I'm following cartoonist Leanne Franson's advice: cut it short and on days that you want it long, get a wig.

Thus, a wig. I am looking for a wig that is right for a character I want to play. A wig that says, "this woman might very stab you with a fork, then hold the fork in while staring you down."

A  sort of blond, slightly wavy mabye, no bangs, shoulder-length fork-stabbing.

I require advice.

(Also: I just finished my last exam: one paper and one wiki to go)

After a very brief attempt at finding a wig to go with a costume, I came to the conclusion that it is probably easier to grow my hair out longer then find a wig that looks remotely decent on me. I probably wasn't looking at high enough quality wigs? So I guess, expect to fork out quite a bit of money if you don't want to look aweful. Or maybe you have a more wig-friendly face then I do? Hmmm so a fork stabby character...any other personality traits that might help decide on a style? Anyways, good luck!

Janet works for the Canadian Supernatural Investigative and Regulatory Authority. She used to work in on-site intelligence analysis for the judiciary branch, but found it was pretty messed up. After being personally threatened after uncovering a scandal, she ate part of her superior's mind in such a way that people assumed that the old guy just had a stroke. She then blew the whistle while trying to keep her name out of it.

Think: tough police detective but not professional enough to be "real" police.
