I used to argue like I meant it. But not with cannibalism, that never
bothered me. A woman hands me a pamphlet on how you and I and she
should let God and God alone heal your cancer, should that be His will.
And I read it and where once I'd be pissed off, now I'm all "well
that's an interesting way of looking at it."
Everything seems arbitrary. Scientific explanations, religious explanations and hunches pass the salt around. They're interchangeable, theory is an ideological tool, concepts are yolks and wheels, lies are vehicles. I suppose this is because most things do float in the social ether, a silver cord whisking off to a point behind them;
solid,
dwindling,
gone.
