        Sunday
1. Stop signs are on the cross street: good, I have right-of-way.
2. A truck!
3. Bicycle+truck=bad
4. Hmm... I won't be able to brake in time
5. Yup, I was right. I hope I won't be too badly hurt.
6. (discontinuity of memory)*
7. Holy shit, I'm okay. I didn't hit my head. Good.

*I remember a loud "thump"

And I am okay, I just have some scrapes and bruised muscles. The driver gave me a ride to church. Nice guy.

        Monday
1. I'm supposed to be dressing like a boy for the photoshoot with [profile] inri33
2. I seem to have ditched most of my non-androgynous clothes (most of which were way too big)
3. I wear this when I play Lichen, and he's pretty male.
4. [Looking in the mirror] Wow. Even with the clothes, I still look different.

        Wednesday
- I've been going to this campus for years, yet I have no idea where many of the girl's bathrooms are.
- On Monday I was dressing as a boy and grwing my facial hair out for laser hair removal. Contrast to today where I'm dressed a bit more comfortably and have shaved and I look in the mirror and... holy shit, I actually look female. This is pretty sweet

Augh! Are you sure you didn't hit your head? I'm glad you're OK, though.

It's interesting to hear about the changes you notice...I might repl to your e-mail about research proposals...Keywords: pronoun problems, stereotypes, communication, assertiveness, assumptions, naming conventions, re-writing personal history. Of course, other people may or may not have the same gripes I do.

I think that I'm good for a project actually, butthe topic sounds like the foundations of a social-justice/mutual-understanding ritual, such as I have seen performed by Nichiren Buddhists.

True. Or a disambiguation thingy. Also, I take it for granted that sub-cultures/minority groups/any group of people does things that others find annoying, or that are annoying in general.

I would swear up and down I was hit my Helen Hunt when I was 13. At least, she looked just like her. She was a bit frantic. I was too shy to make an issue about it, I just said I hoped her car was alright and politely refused a ride home.

Hi

"Hit" is the past tense of "hit", so you don't need to include "was" as well. A more correct phrase could have been "I hit my Helen Hunt when..." Nice use of euphamism, though: I applaud your adventurous exploration of this difficult language!

Har har. The mistake made was truly when I said "my" instead of "by". "I was hit by...". There. I applaud your stringent protection of this language already destroyed by 600 years of interbreeding and failed wars.
