I am talking to a woman who is conducting a political survey. I have explained how to spell:
- fiscally
- frivolous
- alientates
...but the laundry-list of questions that she asked about Harper and Dion shows me that, overall, Canadians ask good questions about their leaders.

Monday, March 12 | Out on Campus goes Out on Campus, 10am - 4pm, Convo Mall Join us in Convocation Mall for a look at what goes on behind the big blue doors of Out on Campus -- that is, a bunch of fun people hanging around on super comfy couches, eating free food and generally having dorktastic conversations. Come flip through some of our library books, sign up for our newsletter, or get any information about our programming. |
Tuesday, March 13 | Trans/gender Workshop and Facilitated Discussion, 1 - 3pm, Out on Campus Lounge This workshop on transgender politics, community, and people is facilitated by Lukas Walther of the Transgender Health Program. Bring your questions, but leave your biases at the door and be prepared for an enlightening afternoon. |
Guess the Straight Person, 6pm, Shell House Basement (Residence) How good is your gaydar? Can you really tell if someone is gay or straight? Ask your 'telling questions' to our panel and see if you're as good as you think you are. | |
Wednesday, March 14 | After Hours Cafe, 6 - 9pm, Out on Campus Lounge Break out your sister's prom dress and your best clip-on tie, After Hours is going formal for Queer Awareness Week with a 'wine' and cheese party. This cafe happens weekly every Wednesday, so come enjoy our relaxed vibe -- just what the doctor ordered for your busy midterm season. |
Thursday, March 15 | Risky Business Trivia: The Sexiest Game on Campus, 1:30, Convo Mall How much do you know about sexual health? What do you do if your roomate comes out to you? This interactive board game is presented by the YouthCo AIDS Society. |
Friday, March 16 | Closing Night, Amateur Drag Contest, 7pm, Highland Pub BYOG: Bring Your Own Gender! We're wrapping up our week with a good old fashioned pub night, coupled with amateur drag performances.
