My friends, it seems that great change is with us. Especially of late.
Since August, my friends have:
- moved within Vancouver
- moved to Burnaby
- found steady work
- decided that conventional school isn't the way to go
- got a steady job as an english teacher
- finished a gasfitter's ticket
- got married
- broke up
- been fired
- moved in together
- moved out
- collected a deposit for a theatre
- closed shop on two businesses
- travelled to Europe
Most of the above changes seem to have been skewed to the latter end of the year. I'd almost felt left behind, but in the last two weeks, this shift has carried me along too.
- I learned a valuable lesson about drug experimentation.
- I quit my job, and got a new one a few days later
- (which is to say that I won an election)
- I found what will hopefully be a secondary relationship (I like you dear, but not quite that much).
- I've come to the conclusion that for me, the Arts department is silly.
And it's not about to end. The next four months will see
- whether student union leadership proves to be a dream job, or drives me away screaming.
- a different living situation in all likelyhood
- a new computer
- how my mother, and possibly other family members, take the full transgendered news.
- how I take to hormones.
Fingers Crossed
