I ran out of co-op enviro detergent and decided to use that bottle of "Rain-Fresh Sunlight" that's been sitting on my shelf since someone left it here.

Now my clothes stink of chemicals.

What is so wrong with just "soap in a bottle," that makes detergentists think that chemical stink is a selling feature?

An excellent point. "Fragrance" as an ingredient in consumer products is usually a bad idea, imo. They should at least list wtf that word means in each product. What chemicals are in it?

Just today I did laundry and thought my stuff felt kinda rough. I considered starting to use fabric softener again but yeah, probably not a good idea.

I know what you mean! I sneeze when I use my in-complex laundromat because it smells like all kinds of crazy chemicals to me!
