Peripherally, through Erin/Tillie... Also, I think you were a topless wish ferry along with my partner, Matthew.. As for online contact outside of LJ, I don't know that we've had any, though I'm on the usual (OkC, Facebook). So, long answer short, we don't entirely know each other, but we seem to have a fair amount in common (in interests and social circles, peripherally), and you seem like a very interesting person, so I thought I'd add you.

Also, off-topic, but you have my sympathy with regards to the bullshit dished out by student governments.. I was heavily involved at UBC.
