I have returned from the ritual but did not complete the third day properly and still feel ghost-like: when alone, gliding and silent.

My apartment is big and I'm lonely. I want a familial environment.

A couple of times this week I've cycled past and looked up at your windows, wishing I wasn't in such a rush so that I could stop and shout in case you're there. But I've booked myself up pretty thoroughly until Friday daytime.

I may be taking Claire's advice and checking out the Anza Club open mike on Thursday, and (if you are not at the conference already by then) would be glad of company.
