You know, I just realized that I never consciously, if ever, went through the stages of that identity model when it comes to my various differences. Maybe it's just that I realized very early on that I was intellectually/cognitively different from most everyone else, had the crisis, and then applied the acceptance I gained from that to other aspects in my life in which I differed.
