You may be aware that Transformers is a crap movie, but it is not only very pretty, but may be worth your time. It contains:


- A peculiar mix of kiddie-cartoon themes and sexual anxiety
- Robots peeing on people
- A medic who never does anything
- A huge number of deaths, but no blood or bodies
- An anachronistic Black robot as the sole named good-guy death
- A "valuable" alien relic that can only create heavily-armed robots that immediately go beserk and attack anyone in the area, including whomever activated it in the first place
- Subtle messages about how incredibly cool ridiculously expensive (and totally ineffective) military hardware is
- Mass voyeurism as the young couple copulate on top of their mutual friend

I approve heartily.
It's five bucks at the Rio.


Funnily enough, the trailer before the movie should have been how the movie in general was filmed - how any action scene should be filmed: character POV, confusing as hell, and with the implication that you, and/or the person next to you, could be killed or crippled randomly at any time.
